The NCLOB unit has 7 modes
Off Mode (Nothing is on, no lights, no beeps)
The unit is not armed, the blue Disarm Switch button is not illuminated and you will not need to do anything to the system.
Armed Mode (Unit has power. Two beeps and the blue light in the back is on)
Ten seconds after your key is turned on the unit will arm, you will hear two beeps, and the blue Disarm Switch will illuminate. Once the light is on, the only way to turn the unit off is to disarm it.
Countdown Mode (Blue light in the back is blinking, unit is beeping)
When you are stopped, the key in the off position, all of the floor level doors closed and the interrupt devices are off, the unit will enter Countdown Mode. There will be an audible beeping and the Disarm Switch will blink at the same rate as the beep. The interior lights will come on. The unit will beep for 90 seconds and then enter Alarm Mode unless the Disarm Switch is pushed.
Alarm Mode (Alarm Devices are activated)
The unit will enter Alarm Mode when the Countdown Mode has completed its countdown. (After 90 seconds). The alarm devices will activate and continue until the unit is disarmed. The unit will not be able to be disarmed if a door is open or the parking brake is not set.
Interrupted Mode (Stops the Countdown and the blue light stops blinking and returns to Armed Mode.)
The Countdown Mode may be interrupted by having the red crossover lights on, or the headlights on. Once these interrupt devices are off, the unit will reset and return to Countdown Mode.
Instant Alarm Mode (Alarm is activated because a door was opened while in Countdown Mode)
Once the unit is in Countdown Mode, the 2 interrupt devices are off, the floor level doors are closed, if any of the floor level doors are opened, then the unit will enter Alarm Mode.
Disarm Mode (Blue light goes off, alarms stop, interior lights go off in 90 seconds)
The unit will enter Disarm Mode when the Disarm Switch is pressed and held in either Countdown Mode, Alarm Mode or Instant Alarm Mode.
The unit will not be able to be disarmed unless all of the floor level doors are closed, and the parking brake is set. If the parking brake is not set, the unit will emit three rapid beeps as soon as the key is turned off. Pushing the Disarm Switch will not work if a door is open or the parking brake is not applied.
The interior lights will remain on for 90 seconds after the Disarm Switch has disarmed the unit.
